Ocean Performance Yacht

Sufficient bridgedeck clearanceCE Certified Category A Ocean - CE Certification is internationally recognized as the highest standard for yacht design and construction. Click here to download pdf of CE Certificate.

30-inch bridgedeck clearance - Any less makes bluewater cruising uncomfortable.

Over-engineered rigging - By working closely with the premier mast manufacturer, Antares and Seldén Mast engineered rigging with double diamond arrangement and forward jumper to withstand loads well above typical expectations.

Antares does not use sail drives - Shaft drives are not only more robust; they also allow us to place the propellers in a protected area at the end of the keel where there is minimal water disturbance. Another advantage to shaft drives is concentrated weight distribution amidships. By placing the engines, fuel and water tanks beneath the floorboards below the waterline, fore and aft pitching is minimal. This enhances the responsiveness of the Antares and makes sailing more comfortable.

Hard Dodger - For serious off-shore cruising. The Antares is the only production catamaran that offers a glass windshield and wipers.

Shaft Steering System - As opposed to cables, the Antares' shaft steering system can withstand heavier water conditions, making steering more responsive under any circumstance.
